NSAN Operations Manager Colin Grimes (centre) welcomes Heatric as members
Heatric joined NSAN in January 2017 and during March and April staff from Heatric attended the introductory NSAN training courses including Triple Bar Leadership, Triple Bar Manufacturing and ASME for nuclear. Feedback from all three courses was very positive and in particular the knowledge and proficiency of the trainer Peter Doyle. Peter clearly has a wealth of experience in the nuclear industry including HSE, documentation and all the behaviours required to carry out successful nuclear projects. All attendees felt that the courses will help to support them with their work and that they are confident to share the knowledge gained.
Paul Morris, Manufacturing Development Manager from Heatric commented:
"The strategy at Heatric is to establish itself as a key supplier to the nuclear industry and the company firmly believes its core competencies and process controls are fully aligned to win work. Central to this strategy is an effective training program to improve key areas of knowledge and the National Skills Academy Nuclear is set up precisely to deliver this.
NSAN offers many benefits further to training including industry news and updates, networking opportunities and document libraries and as members we will certainly benefit from this resource."
