West Suffolk College is one the of the most successful further education colleges in the east of England, providing further and higher education as well as apprenticeships for local, regional and national students.
It operates from three campuses in Bury St. Edmunds, with smaller outreach centres catering for the wider community, located in market towns and includes an HE centre for the University of Suffolk. All of West Suffolk College’s training courses have been developed to meet the needs of employers, and is the leading FE college provider of nuclear related training in the East of England.

The College is able to provide the highest level of service and partnership with employers, tailoring curriculum to meet employer needs. Advanced Engineering programmes are offered from Level 2 to Level 6 (inclusive), providing students from a wide spectrum of educational backgrounds with the opportunity to engage in engineering education from further education through to undergraduate programmes. The College has committed to the future of engineering skills in the UK through significant investment in a new £20 million Science, Engineering and Technology Centre, which will provide outstanding learning opportunities for students seeking a career in these sectors.
