Apprentice End Point Assessment Service

NSAN deliver a specialist End Point Assessment service, providing tailored EPA for standards used across the nuclear industry. We use our unique position to access expertise directly from the industry and the relevant Professional Institutes to create, maintain and deliver our EPA. This underpins the validity, currency and reliability of our assessments, as they’re developed and delivered to accurately reflect the roles apprentices work in. We understand the challenges faced when assessing in safety critical, highly regulated workplaces and are able to provide solutions to overcome these. Because nuclear employers and training providers trust us, they come back to us time after time.

Support and Guidance

We know EPA can be confusing, so place great importance on always being there to guide you through the full process. We provide detailed guidance from the outset, so apprentices are fully prepared to demonstrate their learning to the best of their abilities. We don’t restrict the amount of time we give you and always respond to any query as soon as possible. We build collaborative relationships with our employers and training providers and firmly believe in keeping open and continual communication between all parties.

Assessors from Industry

We know how important it is to be confident that assessors understand the roles being assessed. We draw on our extensive relationships to build our specialist assessor pools. Our independent assessors are experts from within the industry, demonstrating many years of experience and with the required qualifications as proven suitably qualified and experienced personnel (SQEP).  Our assessors are located all around the country, so we have a national reach.

Quality End Point Assessment

NSAN are a recognised Awarding Organisation under Ofqual, the Regulator for EPA.  We are also ISO 9001:2015 certified and operate a fully compliant EPAO process. We are externally assessed annually to provide confidence that our EPA is reliable, of a high quality, and that all apprentices have a fair and positive experience for their EPA. We also hold 360 degree reviews of our EPA delivery to ensure continuous improvement.
