DAS Ltd & NSAN Consultancy
NSAN Consultancy Services has been established in collaboration with Decision Analysis Services Ltd, an independent UK based management and strategy consulting firm specialising in the provision of strategic support across the nuclear sector.
Our expert consultants improve enterprise performance by enhancing Human Capital, transforming organisations and developing people through smart facilitation.
The National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN) was established by employers and supported by UK Government, and over the past ten years our products and services have played a key role in supporting the enhancement of Human Capital in the nuclear industry.
We are unique in the depth and breadth of our understanding of the nuclear skills and capability landscape. We are trusted by over 100 of the UK nuclear industry’s major employers whose HR, Learning and Operations Leaders already access revenue and bottom-line benefits from their NSAN Membership.
Additional benefits are now delivered through tailored support from NSAN Consultancy Services.
Our expert consultants work alongside our clients’ people to enhance their Human Capital, delivering an agreed return on investment and transferring sustainable skills; developing organisational strategy, addressing short-term resource needs and delivering certainty in people capabilities.
We have supported clients with major enhancements, such as:
- Developing a skills strategy with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) to support a high-performance UK supply chain.
-
Advice, guidance & support on Cyber & Information Security.
-
Supporting Urenco to transform operational performance through developing a cross-skill competence framework.
-
Supporting the introduction of a new product into the Low Level Waste Repository (LLWR) with Mott
MacDonald.
-
Supporting the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (NAMRC) and the University of
Cumbria with the mapping, implementation and validation of nuclear training frameworks.
-
Exploring and articulating the capability and organisation development needs of the UK Small
Modular Reactor utility/developer organisation for the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI).
-
Supporting a Government Agency in the transformational change of HR management capability.
-
Augmenting the capability of EDF Energy, Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) through the provision of programme management and nuclear SQEP resource.
We are deeply experienced in nuclear, but our strategy work in other sectors also brings best practice cross-learning. For example, we have applied our robust workforce planning experience to support assessment of long-term nuclear skills supply and demand, based on methods we have used to assess the impact of workforce policy options across many of the workforces in the UK health and social care system out to 2040 (Department of Health, Centre for Workforce Intelligence).
